Meccano Kids Play

There is Meccano for children of all ages, with different difficulties available to suit toddlers, right through to eight and over. Each set is classified for different age groups, making it easy to find the perfect gift.

Meccano Kids Play is aimed at children aged 2 and above, with simple animals and vehicles that kids can build and play with. They are bright and colourful, with funny eyes and moving parts. They come with child-safe bolts that children can put together with a plastic screwdriver – just like the one dad uses.

What Meccano Kids Play sets are available?

The Meccano Kids Play range allows children to build and play with a range of colourful animals and vehicles. All sets safe, simple and durable, and designed for children over the age of two to enjoy. Most importantly, Meccano pieces can be combined from different sets, so children can create their own creatures or vehicles. Choose from the following sets:

Bird

This is the simplest Meccano model available and easy for young children to build. It comes with eight separate parts and a screwdriver to put it all together.

Frog

This cute and colourful frog is easy for children of ages two and above. It comes with eleven pieces that can be constructed using a child-safe plastic screwdriver.

Bee

Children will love this little busy bee. It is easy for children to assemble, with twelve large pieces and a plastic screwdriver to put it all together.

Caterpillar

The bulging-eyed caterpillar is fun for small children, who can put the 14-piece model together with the plastic screwdriver.

Ladybird

This fantastic ladybug comes with movable wheels that children can roll along the floor after building. Children will enjoy the challenge of putting the seven colourful pieces together using the screwdriver.

Penguin

Children will love this cute little penguin that they can also disassemble and turn into two other bird figures.

Rabbit

Dog

Dragon

This playful dragon can be built by child two and over, using the 39 pieces and plastic screwdriver. Children will be occupied for hours as they build and play, before pulling it apart and building two other moving models.

Tractor

This fantastic 40-piece set is perfect for children who love to solve puzzles and use their hands. Build the moving tractor and then reconstruct the pieces to build figurine or tricycle.

Train Tool Box

This massive 40-piece set allows children to construct a colourful train with a storage carriage. When they want, children can also use the screwdriver to disassemble the train and build two other fantastic models.
