What is LEGO Power Miners?

LEGO Power Miners is a fantastic set that lets children explore underground, as miners go on the search for valuable crystals, while they are also under attack from the horrible rock and lava monsters. Children can choose to play with the sets as they please, taking control of both heroes and monsters in their own adventure.

There are over ten highly-interactive sets available, so children can expand their world as far as they please. They can choose to recreate the predesigned models, or use their imaginations to create original vehicles and underground facilities.

What sets are available?

Lavatraz

Lavatraz is the most unbreakable fortress, designed to contain the most feared underground monster Eruptorr. As his gang try to free him from his cell, the Power Miners use their water cannons to try and stop them. This set comes with a grabbing claw, water ball cannon and a working crane.

Claw Catcher

The only way to beat a lava monster is with something cold – and nothing is colder that a bath in liquid nitrogen! Use the claw catcher on your off-road vehicle to catch Infernoxx, the menacing lava monster.

Magma Mech

The Magma Mech is one of the best machines for cutting through rock and blasting any lava monsters. It comes with an extendable grabbing claw, water jet with spinning action and a heat-shielded cock-pit.

Fire Blaster

The Fire Blaster is the quickest way to catch any monsters on the run. It comes with a dynamite shooter to blast through rocks and a powerful water blaster to help Power Miners capture the lava monsters.

Titanium Command Rig

This massive model can transform from a drilling platform that tunnels into solid rock, and into a quick getaway vehicle in case the tunnel starts to collapse. The Power Miners have also captured one of the blue rock monsters, but it’s much larger and much angrier friends is going to help it escape.

Rock Wrecker

One of the strongest vehicles the Power Miners use, the Rock Wrecker moves quickly through rock with its titanium spinning plates. The green rock monster is waiting to attack but the Power Miners surprise him with their net attack shooter.

Crystal King

The Power Miners have disturbed the king of all the rock monsters. They try to defend themselves with dynamite and a power drill, but will it be enough to defeat it?

Crystal Sweeper

The Crystal Sweeper is the quickest way to seek and collect crystal from the rocky tunnels. The sweeper has bright search lights to see around the dark caves, and a long-reach harvester to collect hard-to-reach crystals. This set comes with an off-road motorbike that Power Miners can use for quick getaways when attacked by rock monsters.

Thunder Driller

The Power Miners use the Thunder Driller more than any other vehicle. It helps them tunnel underground and locate the crystals, with huge spiked wheels and a massive double-geared power drill.

Claw Digger

The Claw Digger is nitro-powered and is reinforced with armour plating and massive spiked wheels. It can smash rocks to pieces with its hydraulic crushing claws and lifting scoop, which is why rock monsters are afraid to get in its way!

Granite Grinder

This heavy-duty machine will chip, smash and pulverise anything in its way. With a dual-pronged jack hammer cargo tray for crystals, this is the most reliable vehicle in the Power Miners convoy.

Mine Mech

The Mine Mech is used for speedy rescues, with a long-reach power claw that can save Power Miners are caught in risky situations. It has a spinning cutter that can chop through almost anything and triple-plated armour.

Stone Chopper

It may be small, but this little machine always gets the job done. It can reach super-high speeds and carve through rock with diamond-plated saws.

Boulder Basher

When the Boulder Basher arrives, the rock monsters go running, because it makes the whole earth shake. It carries dynamite that it can fire rapidly at anything in its way. Once it’s blown the rocks to smithereens, it can clear a path with its strong bulldozer blades.
