Pull Test

LEGO DUPLO pieces that have protruding parts are made to withstand pulling pressure of 10kg; to ensure they will not be pulled apart or snapped off.

Bite Test

Small children tend to bite or chew whatever they can fit in their mouths. LEGO DUPLO blocks are bigger, so children can’t swallow them, and they are also made to withstand a minimum of 22.5kg of bite pressure; to ensure they don’t snap in the mouth or form sharp edges from bite-marks.

Pressure Test

All pieces are designed to withstand 15kg, so they don’t break when they’re thrown, stood-on or put under extreme pressure.

Step Test

All LEGO DUPLO pieces and carry tubs are designed to withstand a minimum weight of 50kg, without cracking or shattering into smaller or sharper pieces.
